Lifeskills offers an outclient treatment program for individuals who have completed residential treatment and need ongoing support as well as for those who want a cost-effective, alternative to inclient care. Our outclient program provides structure and accountability for individuals recovering from psychiatric, trauma-based disorders and addiction.

Treatment plans are developed to reflect each individual’s unique clinical needs and focus on developing self awareness and self monitoring skills, as well as self reliance. Individuals will also discover how to create balance at home and at work and will develop a support network within the recovery community.
The key benefit of outclient treatment is that it provides a less structured opportunity for individuals who want to work toward recovery while maintaining their jobs, pursuing their education and living independently. Designed to meet the needs of busy adults, Lifeskills offers several outclient options.
Participants benefit from individual therapy as well as the added structure and support within the recovering community. Evening groups focus on relapse prevention, maintaining balance, developing healthy relationships, understanding the symptoms and treatment recommendations for living with co-occurring disorders.
Outpatient treatment runs for six months and offers from two to six group therapy sessions per week. In addition, clients receive one individual session with a primary therapist. Group sessions are scheduled Monday through Thursday evenings between 5:00 pm – 7:30 pm.
Individuals who participate in outclient treatment can expect the following benefits:
