Is a Board certified psychiatrist with more than 20 years of psychopharmacology, psychotherapy, teaching and research experience. Dr. Benarroche was a faculty member at Yale University’s Department of Psychiatry for nine years. Dr. Benarroche’s clinical research focus has been on the role of neurobiology in the behavioral manifestations of anxiety, compulsive and co-occurring disorders. Dr. Benarroche is an active member of the American Association of Addiction Psychiatrists and the American Academy of Addiction Medicine. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor at Charles S. Schmidt College of Biomedical Science at Florida Atlantic University.
