Laura Durant

Laura DurantLaura Durant, LMHC – Program Director

 

Holds a Master of Counseling degree and has been a Licensed Mental Health Counselor since 1991. Her experience includes working with chemical dependency, co-occurring disorders, trauma, personality disorders and family issues. Laura is a trauma specialist and focuses on the needs of adult survivors of trauma. She received advanced training with Marsha Linehan, PhD, ABPP in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). Lifeskills South Florida is a place where second chances become new beginnings. Since 1991, we’ve offered residential, transitional and outclient mental health treatment to men and women ages 18 and over who are facing the challenges of psychiatric disorders, trauma-based disorders and chemical addictions. Located near white sands and sunlit beaches in Deerfield Beach, Florida, Lifeskills provides a safe and caring environment for adults who are focused on long-term health, healing and recovery.
