Tom LewisTom Lewis, MS, LMHC, CAP – Primary Therapist

Director of Risk Management and Quality Assurance

 

Is a licensed Mental Health Counselor, Certified Addictions Professional, and holds a Master’s degree in Substance Abuse Education and Counseling.  He has worked extensively with individuals with psychiatric and co-occurring disorders in a variety of settings including inpatient, residential and outpatient levels of care.  Tom uses an eclectic approach to treatment, and as a professional musician he incorporates music into his practice.

Lifeskills South Florida is a place where second chances become new beginnings. Since 1991, we’ve offered residential, transitional and outclient mental health treatment to men and women ages 18 and over who are facing the challenges of psychiatric disorders, trauma-based disorders and chemical addictions. Located near white sands and sunlit beaches in Deerfield Beach, Florida, Lifeskills provides a safe and caring environment for adults who are focused on long-term health, healing and recovery.
