John is experienced in working with adults with severe traumatic brain injury, substance use disorder, and dual diagnosis. He began his career in the substance use/ mental health in 1989 in New England and held many roles throughout his career including Team Leader, Program Director and Director of Patient Care. In his previous role, John supervised the day-to-day operations of a large department consisting of 90 direct care staff and two recovery residences. He was also previously a Crisis Prevention Instructor and an Anger Management Facilitator. John is experienced in CARF accreditation and DCF licensure and is familiar with the 12 step Recovery Model. He is passionate about helping people with disabilities and ensuring they are treated with the utmost dignity and respect.
