Matthew Abraham, Clinical Partner of Lifeskills

As a licensed mental health professional who works with numerous programs across the country, I know that I can trust Lifeskills South Florida with my most complex referrals. It has been an absolute pleasure getting to know and coming to trust the leadership and staff at Lifeskills. Dr. Ockman is extremely helpful and always accommodating with anything that might arise with a client. He provides sound leadership to his clinical staff, and I feel that as a team they bring an expert level of skill to assist the clients that are entrusted to their care.

Lauren Davis, Clinical Partner of Lifeskills

I have referred clients to Lifeskills over the years and have never heard anything but positive feedback. I had the opportunity to visit Lifeskills for the first time for a professionals weekend in November 2018. I was incredibly impressed by all the staff and everything I learned about the services they offer. I would send a loved one to Lifeskills, knowing they would receive the highest quality care possible.

Levels of Care

At Lifeskills, we offer a range of intensity that helps support each client’s unique clinical needs on their road to recovery. We will work closely with your client to find the best fit within our programs.

Residential Treatment (RTC)

This level of care is for clients who need a safe, structured, and more intensive care environment. The North Campus offers more intensive supervision and stabilization in a home-like environment, while the South Campus provides support and structure in a more social setting.

Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)

Our PHP is a five-day-a-week, therapeutic day program that allows individuals to take the next step in independence from a residential environment while retaining the structured programming needed to continue recovery.

Intensive Outpatient Treatment (IOP)

This level of care is a three-day a week therapeutic program that accepts direct admissions, as well as clients that are stepping down from a higher level of care.

Transitional Living

Osceola House offers a transitional living option for residents to learn self-management skills, while increasing responsibility and taking steps towards independence in a supportive environment. Many clients live at Osceola House while attending PHP or IOP, and in addition may be working, volunteering, or attending school.
