In some way, we have all been touched by substance abuse, maybe we know someone or have a history of it in our family, or we are the one that is abusing drugs or alcohol.  No one is immune from this disorder that has swept across the country.  According to the Surgeon General, in 2015, over 27 million people in the United States reported currently using illicit drugs or misuse of prescription drugs, and over 66 million people reported to binge drinking in the past month.
