Programs

For over 30 years, Lifeskills has provided customized, evidence-based mental health treatment and is recognized as a national center of clinical excellence. Lifeskills is dually licensed to treat complex psychiatric, substance use, and process addiction disorders for adults and their families.

We offer a true continuum of care with a multidisciplinary treatment team approach. Our exceptionally skilled master- and doctoral-level clinicians provide the highest quality of clinical care at the residential treatment, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient levels of care. Lifeskills clients can live at Osceola House, one of our transitional living residences while attending the partial hospitalization program (PHP) and the intensive outpatient program (IOP).

Continuum of Care

We offer residential treatment, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient programs, as well as transitional living. Clients move through these programs as they progress toward recovery. We also offer an Alumni Program for our former clients and their family members.

This dedicated, private milieu provides customized care for adults who need intensive supervision and stabilization prior to potentially transitioning to the Main Campus.

Clients live in fully furnished and professionally staffed townhomes, allowing them to adapt their new coping skills and practice their daily routines during treatment.

A FARR Accredited and Level II transitional living community, Osceola House allows individuals to step down to semi-independent living while attending outpatient programming.

Our partial hospitalization program (PHP) and intensive outpatient program (IOP) allow clients to expand their independent living skills while increasing their responsibilities.

We connect the Lifeskills communities to our alumni, serve and guide our alumni and their families, and cultivate strong communities that can continue their recovery journeys together.

Levels of Care

At Lifeskills, we offer a range of intensity that helps support each client’s unique clinical needs on their road to recovery. We work closely with each client, their family members and support system, and their clinical team to find the best fit within our programs.

Residential Treatment (RTC)

This level of care is for clients who need a safe, structured, and more intensive care environment. The North Campus offers more intensive supervision and stabilization in a home-like environment, while the South Campus provides support and structure in a more social setting

Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)

Our PHP is a five-day-a-week therapeutic day program that allows individuals to take the next step in independence from a residential environment while retaining the structured programming needed to continue recovery.

Intensive Outpatient Treatment (IOP)

Our IOP is a 10-hour-per-week therapeutic program that accepts direct admissions, as well as clients that are stepping down from a higher level of care.

Transitional Living

Osceola House offers a transitional living option for residents to learn self-management skills while increasing responsibility and taking steps towards independence in a supportive environment. Many clients live at Osceola House while attending PHP or IOP and may be working, volunteering, or attending school.

What Our Alumni Are Saying

After his last night of using, Reid ended up in the ICU. That’s when he knew he needed help. Not only was his health at risk, but his substance use was also causing strain on the relationships in his life. Listen to how treatment at LIfeskills shaped his success and led him to become a master’s level, REBT-trained Primary Therapist at Lifeskills Outpatient.

At his family’s urging, Adam showed up at Lifeskills after getting a DUI and medically withdrawing from college. He felt nervous, anxious, and most of all, defeated. Now, years later, after completing treatment at Lifeskills, he’s an Admissions Coordinator at Family First, an adolescent treatment center that helps others on their recovery journeys.
