As part of our mission, we believe that individuals can change with proper therapeutic support. At Lifeskills Delray Beach: Outpatient, we offer compassionate care that incorporates traditional, integrative, and expressive therapies and gives our clients the tools they need to live a life of freedom from their disorders.
Levels of Care
Our outpatient programs provide clients with opportunities to expand independent living skills while increasing their responsibilities. Clients may admit directly to the outpatient programs or based on clinical need, may step down from intensive residential treatment. At Lifeskills Delray Beach: Outpatient, we offer a partial hospitalization program (PHP) as well as an intensive outpatient program (IOP). Clients can live in our transitional living community, Osceola House, while attending PHP and IOP.
Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)
Our PHP offers intensive treatment five days per week, consisting of highly structured, evidence-based therapy during the day. Our program provides clients autonomy in a safe environment to practice recovery skills in real-life situations. Our clinicians work with clients to provide a treatment plan that includes individual and group therapy sessions that
help them learn skills needed to live an independent life outside of treatment. Many clients in PHP may be working, volunteering, or attending school. Our PHP groups include:
- Applying Cognitive Behavioral Skills Group
- Body and Health Group
- Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Group
- Family Dynamics Group
- Healthy Relationships Group
- Mindfulness Group
- Nutrition Group
- Primary Process Group
- Relapse Prevention Group
- Seeking Safety Group
- Vocational Group
Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
IOP is a step-down level of treatment from residential treatment or our partial hospitalization program (PHP). Our IOP is designed to help support the recovery process and involves 10 hours of treatment per week. Based upon the intake assessment, there are two tracks available: an 8-week track or a 12-week track. Our IOP groups include:
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) Group
- DBT Group
- Healthy Relationships Group
- Life Skills Group
- Mindfulness Group
- Relapse Prevention Group

“My stay at Lifeskills has been very beneficial to my path in recovery. “I have been in the PHP for over a month and a half and Jason is my therapist. I was wary about coming to PHP and starting all over with a new therapist, but Jason listened to me and made me feel at ease. Yes, we did have a bit of a rough start, but after we talked it out, he was able to accommodate me and how I like to do therapy and it’s been smooth sailing. I really love the groups here at PHP. They are very informative, and I have learned so many skills. I had a a rough couple of weeks, but Jason made sure to see me often until I was stable again and I can’t be more thankful. If I happen to relapse, I know Jason and the whole Lifeskills family is here for me and welcome me back.

"I have learned a lot from my stay at Lifeskills. I have had two different therapists and though they had different styles I got something out of both. Great community and fulfilled expectations. Would recommend. I have dual diagnosis and they seemed to cover both well."
