Dr. Deanna Ferrentino

As a primary therapist, Dr. Deanna provides direct therapeutic services, with a specialization in treating individuals who have been impacted by trauma of varying types and degrees. She has been trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Trauma Affect Regulation Guide for Education and Treatment (TARGET), and Motivational Interviewing. Dr. Deanna also has extensive experience conducting psychological evaluations, with a passion for conducting personality assessment. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Western New England University and earned both her master’s and doctoral degree in clinical psychology degree from University of Hartford. She has worked in a variety of treatment settings; however, has a strong passion for working in residential treatment settings due to its’ strong efficacy she has witnessed. Dr. Deanna is originally from Massachusetts and moved to South Florida between 2014 and 2016 to complete her pre-doctoral internship at Nova Southeastern University’s Psychology Services Center and her post-doctoral residency at Citrus Health Network in one of their residential treatment programs. Dr. Deanna loves the tropical environment of South Florida and has made Lifeskills South Florida a place to share her expertise with clients and their families.
