With over 22 years of experience in psychiatric and behavioral healthcare, Melissa focuses on assisting families, clients and providers navigate the behavioral health landscape and understand mental illness and addiction. Her goal is to help educate, lessen the overwhelm that is often felt, and increase hope. Melissa graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree from Saint Anselm College. She began her career with The Mental Health Center of Greater Manchester (NH) serving in various capacities including vocational counseling and counseling people with severe and persistent mental illness. She continued counseling as a care manager for WestBridge (NH) eventually transitioning to the leadership team and moving into the role of Customer Relations Coordinator. Melissa has chaired fundraising walks such as “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer” of Greater Manchester, and NAMI Walks New Hampshire. She was a NAMI-NH committee member for several years and was Walk Day Co-Chair for the NAMI Walk, “For the Mind of America” for two years.
If you need to find her, she’s either plugging away on her Master’s degree, spoiling her dog Margot, enjoying music or at the beach with her feet in the sand with a good book.
